The Lexus HS is a hybrid luxury compact sedan launched in 2009 as the first hybrid vehicle in the Lexus line-up. Despite being removed from the US market in 2012, it was still sold in Japan. Larger than the CT and smaller than the Lexus ES, the Lexus HS featured front-wheel drive and a 2.4 liter inline four cylinder engine, which produces a combined output of 187 horsepower with the assistance of the electric motor.
